Such a powerful, loving message by Pastor Jude Sisneros of Albuquerque. I love this man of God so very much! He inspires me! Pastor Jude preached this past Sunday at Majesty Worship Center! God Bless you and Liv, Pastor Jude!

Matt. 14:22-27″ Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side , while he dismissed the crowd. 23) After he dismissed them , he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was alone ,24) but the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. 25)During the fourth watch( about 4:00 am) of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the lake. 26) When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost, they said, and cried out in fear. 27) but Jesus immediately said to them: ” Take courage! It is I . Don’t be afraid”. … My thoughts… Before The Lord sends u on a journey, he will always be there to intercede on your behalf.. In prayer.. He did it for the disciples.. He will do it for you… The lake of Galilee was a small lake , and because of its size, the winds are stronger.. Sometimes we have small problems that are blown out of proportion( no pun intended).. The Lord calls us to be storm riders , and sometimes our little storms become a nightlong battle.. Sound familiar? It happened to the disciples.. The disciples fought the storm for 9 hours, and in the middle of the storm.. They mistook Jesus for a ghost.. We do the same in the midst of storms.. The Lord becomes non- exsistant, a ghost.. And in the middle of a stormy divorce , we get tossed around by guilt, in the middle of financial debt, we get tossed around by our bankers, in the middle of a recession, we get tossed around by a stupid Obama stimulus package, or fake bailouts.. It’s hard to see The Lord in all these koatic distractions, it’s hard to see The Lord through lawsuits, foreclosures, a war, but it is in the storms of life, The Lord does his finest work…how can I say that? It’s because in the storms of life is when we give The Lord our most attention… The Lord says, ” take courage, I am here”. Look into the storm, that’s Christ coming toward you.. Peter asked The Lord ,” if it is you, command me to come to you on the water”.. Peter never would of made that request on a calm sea.. Storms make us take journeys we never would attempt on a calm day.. It challenges us to take a chance at the impossible, while The Lord sticks his hand out and makes it possible… But when Peter stared at the storm.. He took his eyes off of The Lord and started to sink.. Give your storm waters more attention than the Storm Walker.. And watch you do the same.. Take your eyes off of The Lord , your storms won’t cease, and your discouragement will increase.. Jesus had the power to stop the storm before it even started.. He wanted to teach the disciples a lesson.. Jesus has the power to do the same for us.. But he won’t .. He wants us to learn that storms are not an option.. But that fear is.. Feed your fears, and your faith will starve… Feed your faith, and your fears will…The Lord is the commander of every storm.. Do you fear yours? Then stare at Him!!! This might be your first rodeo, but it certainly isn’t The Lord’s…. Your captain of the ship has a call sign that says” Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid!! So my question to you today is.. Who’s steering your boat in your storms , your fear or your God? That is all…
