Prepare For Take Off Sir…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I sit this morning thinking about the Pastor I met recently. As he fell to his knees crying out for lost souls, somehow I just know God is answering that prayer. I have never witnessed anyone weep like I had seen this man weep for people to know Jesus. I am sure he wasn’t thinking about the suit he was wearing and the red sparkled tie as fell on his knees last Wednesday night. That rented building challenged me as I made my way in. I needed to know more, I had to know more as I prayed for God to set up an interview for me to question him. His heart echoed the same as our Saviors- that none would perish.
He himself was a previous crack addict. He had been through divorce and knew the pains of life. He knew the victory that the Lord Jesus Christ brought to him and he wanted others to experience it, as he cried out to God on their behalf. The love of God encompassed this mans heart, a sight to behold. Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for this awakening. You, oh God so loved the world that you gave your one and only Son, that whoever believes in you shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
Father, thank you for giving us your heart. It’s not the meeting place where we gather, it’s what’s happening inside our hearts. Give your church your heart once again, we pray.
Father, tear down religious strongholds, mindsets and traditions of men, that your spirit can move throughout the earth once again, we pray. Tear down and rebuild according to your Word in Isaiah 61. Amen
