Coronavirus Fears Cause Shortages in Albuquerque Stores

Bottled water, toilet paper, paper towels and hand sanitizer are flying off the shelves of stores here in Albuquerque.

Good ol’ soap is better than hand sanitizer I am told.

There is a bit of a shopping frenzy going on here in Albuquerque and other places…..

Stay calm………rest in Jesus, read the words of Jesus, pray….go to Church in the morning. All is well with my soul. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Psalm 103: 1 Love this: Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Psalm 62:5

Use Godly wisdom in all you do my dear, dear friends….

When I had my diabetes check up this week with my Doctor, Joanne Haeffele at UNM West Clinic (I AM NO LONGER A DIABETIC!!!!! GOD HEALED ME!!!! PTL!!!) Dr. Haeffele said to use common sense, wash your hands, take care of yourself. No panic please.

By the way I want to stress to you all that GOD HEALED ME!!!! I am no longer a diabetic. It was a year ago this April when I got the diagnosis and I changed my diet 180 that same day..blood sugar was 299! A1c was 7.2 now it is 5.5! Here is the key, I have a great GOD, Great wife, great Doctor……and I was obedient in my diet and exercise. One thing that drives Doctors and nurses, like my wife nuts,  is those that have a medical condition but do not follow the Doctors directions and go on what I call a “death wish” but still complain and do not get well. One of the main keys to life is being obedient to God, God wants you to take care of your temple.

I forever now, will stay on the diet and I have been now for almost a year and have increased my exercise routine.

What I just shared with you is meant to have you focus on God in everything, be obedient to Him and do not fear.

Department of Health’s Bureau of Health and Emergency Management to activate Department Operations Center
SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Health’s (NMDOH) Bureau of Health and Emergency Management will be activating the Department Operations Center (DOC) at level 3 beginning Monday, March 9th in support of on-going pandemic-readiness activities related to the COVID-19 coronavirus.
“To be clear, while we have zero cases of COVID-19 in New Mexico, we have long-standing protocols for preparing for any outbreak of pandemic disease, and we are following those protocols,” said NMDOH Cabinet Secretary Kathy Kunkel. “We are doing our part to assure New Mexico is ready for any emergency.”
Every day, the Department Operations Center operates at a level 4 and level 4 is normal, standard operations. Level 3 is a slightly higher alert status and will ensure smooth logistics for activities being performed in anticipation of a possible outbreak.
The activation will enable Department of Health leadership to make informed decisions on expanding the scope of operations and ensure the highest level of situational awareness and communication within the department.
Depending on the virus, different groups of people are affected more than others. COVID-19 is no exception – and it affects the elderly more. As a result, the NMDOH is preparing increased surveillance of the state’s 267 nursing homes with regards to infection prevention and has expanded availability of COVID-19 testing to all persons with respiratory symptoms (such as fever and cough/shortness of breath) who test negative for flu regardless of travel history or contact with confirmed cases.
The Department of Health’s novel coronavirus webpage is updated regularly and now includes a tracker of how many people are being tested for COVID-19 and the results of those tests. You can find it online at https://cv.nmhealth.org/.
