Living Above The Whispers…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Easter has now passed us by, but the work of the cross continues on until we reach eternity. Oh, the power of the cross. His blood covers every stain from our past.
This morning, I wanted to pray about the ghosts of our past. We all have a past. Some are not so bad and some have been pretty ugly. I am thankful that the cross covers it all. His blood was enough payment.
When the enemy of our soul comes back to remind us of our past, we need to speak the Word back to him. Those little whispers that we hear, you are not good enough, you can’t be forgiven, you committed the unpardonable sin, Jesus can’t help you, nobody would believe you, you were a mistake and his whispers are endless. That’s when we can remind him, that he was defeated at the cross. He has no authority over us. We speak Gods Word and he has to flee. Amen? Amen!
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the blood of Christ that covers our sins. Father, thank you that when we speak your Word, he has to flee. Your payment for our lives, your precious blood was enough.
Father, when the enemy of our soul comes to do his whispering, remind us of the finished work of the cross. The payment was paid.
Father, empower us to live above the whispers. When we hear those whispers in our minds or even when others whisper about us, we can rise higher. Thank you for the work of the cross. Amen.
