Are You Available To God?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have been praying for our nation as well as other nations that that have been impacted by Covid-19. Some people are very hungry, lined up at food banks etc. Their only hope, our only hope is in Christ Jesus. He will see us through anything and everything. Our lives are truly in his hands. I love to read Psalm 24 over and over again. It reminds me of who is in control. It reminds me who created the earth and who is watching over it and his people.
This morning, I talk with God about his Word in Matthew 6 that says Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or What shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Today, let’s join faith for manna for hungry people. Let’s agree together that this awakening that is breaking loose, that we will be both available and willing to do whatever he may ask of us. Stepping outside our comfort zones isn’t always easy, but we can do it. Let’s do our part. Amen? Amen.
Father, we show up for duty once again this morning. Use our lives to impact the world around us. Everything we are, everything we have, we lay at your feet. All we want is to see you glorified on the earth.
Father, give us assignments bigger that ourselves. Father, we pray that many will come to know you through this pandemic. Thank you for sending help to all that are crying out to you. We join faith and stand with them Lord.
Father, for all that don’t know how to call on your name, we stand in the gap for them this morning. Draw them God, just like you drew us. Thank you for removing the veil that is covering their eyes to see truth. Your heart is that none would perish. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Share your faith, your food, your life, whatever God may ask of you. Let’s be available for God.
