God Has Highlighted You! Yes, You…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As I sit reading my Bible this morning at my dining room table, these scripture verses seemed highlighted to me. (Matthew 6:19-21) Although they aren’t marked with my yellow highlighter, God has a way of illuminating the words we need to read each day. I would encourage you to sit with him a while. Take your Bible and ask him to highlight, to illuminate his Word to you. You will be amazed how your time with him will strengthen you for the day.
In Matthew 6:19-21 Jesus tells us not store up for ourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
We all accumulate things as we journey life. It is how close do we hold on them. At the end of our lives we can’t take anything with us. We go alone, we stand alone before our maker. The house will be sold, apartments cleaned out and our collections don’t have the same meaning to another. I have witnessed years of treasures collected by people given away, sold or simply discarded.
Today, let’s thank God that we are his treasure. Let’s thank him that He highlighted mankind. Let’s commit our day to him. Amen? Amen.

Father, thank you for highlighting mankind. Thank you that we are your treasure. You willingly laid down your life that we could live free.
Father, thank you for journeying with us as we commit the day to you. Thank you for the open doors to share our faith, do good works, and tell the world how much you love them. You are the greatest treasure.
Father, thank you for your word to us today. Highlight everything our eyes need to see as we walk out our day with you. Amen.
