Build Each Other Up!

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not unto men…” [Colossians 3:23, KJ21] I believe there is a difference between doing one’s best versus resting on an approach that simply maintains an acceptable level of excellence. At the same time, it seems wrong to expect everyone to attain the same level of expertise in all things, as we all have different roles to fulfill and gifts to utilize. When the body is knit together by what every person, calling and gifting supplies, the result is the “growth of the body [of Christ] for the edifying of itself in love.” [Ephesians 4:16, NKJV].” To build each other up in love takes patience, dedication, selflessness, and most of all, a heart which loves, as God is love.
