Do We Put The Mask On Or Take The Mask Off?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. It is always so reassuring to know that we have someone that is always on our side. Recently, I was in a setting where someone disclosed their weakness to the people in attendance. I am sure it took courage for them to speak out what they were struggling with. No one judged that individual but shared ways they overcame their weaknesses. They were trying to help strengthen that person for their battle each and every day. It was nice to be with people that were real, transparent before God and each other. They had taken their mask off.

I remember when my children were younger trying to get them all ready and get to church on time. It wasn’t easy and we would arrive a little haphazard at times, but we put our  mask on.

Recently, I shared with an individual how I dealt with an issue I faced from years ago.  I would write a scripture on an index card and put it in my pocket. Whenever the issue would try to resurface, I would pull the index card out of my pocket and renew my mind with the Word of God.

Every day we are faced with things in our world that challenge us. Isn’t it nice to know that we have a God that loves us, always on our side, and we can go to him with our mask off? He says yes, their mine, and I am working all things together for their God. (Romans 8:28) He says, I have come to give them life and life more abundantly. (John 10:10) Don’t worry about them, let’s take your mask off and let’s talk about you. It’s called getting real before a real God. Amen? Amen.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that we can take our masks off before our God. There is nothing hidden. Thank you for setting your people free according to John 8:36. Whom the son sets free is free indeed.

Father, in Matthew 27:51 we are told that the veil was torn from top to bottom so that we can come directly to our Heavenly Father without any person or thing between us. To God be the glory forever. Amen

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Seek him today and worship him today in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
