“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.”

Psalm 94:19

During these trying times, we all feel a bit anxious from time to time. The uncertainty of this world and it’s happenings can cause us unrest.

Watching the reports on Social Media, knowing you’re being lied to and everyone seems to believe the lies, can sometimes cause us to feel anxious.

Or, we may have friends or family that are straying from the faith.

They may not believe the things that are happening are of a demonic nature.

They may not agree that the Lord sets kings in palaces. For his glory And to accomplish his purpose.

”He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars.”

Daniel 2:21

People may disagree with you about almost anything that’s related to Jesus.

You may have lost friends over this whole issue, you’re mocked and judged.

You may have lost a business, been laid off, maybe you’re in financial distress.

And there are many other situations that can cause you distress.

Anxiety will subtly enter in when we fail to remember that God is in control and that He cares for us and is working all things out for His glory and our good.

Since January, I’ve heard the Lord say over and over, to seek his face and to be a kingdom seeker.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33

In order to experience true peace, we need to have intimacy with God. We have to come before Him with humility and A broken and contrite heart. And we have to trust that he is present.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 14:2

We will face all types of trials and things will eventually get worse, but we have to go to God in order to survive this.

He is absolutely the foundation of our peace!

Many Blessings,

Connie
