You Don’t Have To Be Beautiful, Just Be Cute…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Children are such a blessing. They say the funniest things at times. One of my granddaughters is four, she is extremely beautiful just like your daughter or granddaughter. She has a brother that will soon turn two. He is so darn cute just like your son or grandson. Everyone comments how cute this little guy is, just like your son or grandson.

As I was visiting recently, whenever I said you are so beautiful to that sweet little girl, she would snap back with no, I am cute. She no longer wanted to be beautiful, she wanted to be cute like her little brother.

Isn’t it funny how we always want to be like someone else, instead of being who we are? We are all created in the image of God, all of us. His Word tells us that he knit us together, formed us in our mother’s womb. He placed a gift inside each one of us. My prayer is that we will unwrap it and use it to make the world a better place. Amen?

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for the gift of children. We pray a hedge of protection around them today, a ring of fire.

Father, thank you for the gift you have placed inside each of us. It’s a gift the world didn’t give us and the world can’t take it away. May we use it for you, oh God.

Father, thank you that all lives matter. It does not mean we will agree on all things, but we can do our part in making the world a better place.

Father, thank you for the gift of love. Fill us to overflowing today that it will spill out and touch another. Amen

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. You don’t have to be beautiful, just be cute. Use your gift today to make a difference.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you. (Psalm 139: 13-18)
