God Bless you Sister Connie Keyohara for your message to us today!
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
A repentant heart is one of the most important actions in the Christian walk. It takes you from a destructive path and moves you instead into God’s perfect, pleasing will for your life.
We are called to repent and turn from our wicked ways. It is important that we check our hearts and get rid of any sin that abounds there.
Unfortunately, one mistake we make is to think others are in sin or that the sermon was for the other person and not us, and not realizing that the Lord is speaking to us, personally.
That’s a detrimental mistake, because many people are dying in sin and going to hell, because they believed that their life was in order, simply because they attended church, gave to the needy or because they were kind
If you look around right now, you’re going to see a world that’s fading quickly. Honestly though, we couldn’t possibly think that we could be on a path to destruction and that the Lord wouldn’t step in.
Now is the time, if you haven’t already done so, to go to the Lord and repent of what you’ve been doing.
Either way, God is going to expose your heart, your sin.
He will not allow the remnant to walk in destructive ways and turn a blind eye to it. It won’t happen. Period!
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
Acts 3:19
As Christians, we are called to preach the good news, but we should also preach the bad news.
The bad news is, if you don’t repent, you will not get into the kingdom of heaven and there’s only one other place you can go.
Your choices are heaven or hell, smoking or non-smoking.
These are your only two choices and this is why I’ve made it my life’s goal to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to whomever will listen. This is not a joke folks, and this is for all eternity.
People don’t usually talk about sin, repentance and hell because it is uncomfortable and scary. But it’s imperative that we talk about it. Otherwise, we are not preparing you for where you’ll spend eternity.
So here’s the good news, Christ died that we would have life and have it to the fullest, and eternal life at that.
It’s simple really.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9.
Confess your sins to God, admit you’re a sinner and ask him to save you! Then seek his face.
My prayer for you today, is that you would confess your sins to the Lord and then repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
If you’ve done this, please let me know.
Many Blessings,
