A Backpack For The Pumpkin…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I drove my grandkids to daycare a few mornings ago. My granddaughter would be taking a bus later that day to attend pre-school. She was so proud carrying her backpack. My grandson who is now two just kept repeating backpack, backpack all the way there. He had no backpack and he was feeling a little sad.
Later that evening I took him a backpack that he could carry some of his things in. I chuckled as his mother told me when she went to awake him the next morning, she had seen a lump in the bedding. He had slept with his backpack.
Today, bless a child. A smile, a kind word, a backpack, a prayer, a pair of mittens whatever you are led to do. Let’s give thanks for the pumpkins, they are the future of our world.
Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me. Mark 9:37
Let’s Pray:
Father, we pray a hedge of protection around the children today. We thank you children are dear to your heart. We pray today their backpack to be full of love, joy, peace in a world that is turned upside down.
Father, we thank you for the lives of children. Your Word tells us that children are a blessing from the Lord. (Psalm 127:3) May the world receive them. Amen
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Be a blessing to a child today.
