Thank you so very much Sister Connie Keyohara for this awesome message of encouragement for such a time as this! PTL!
When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.”
Psalm 94:19
This is definitely the time to remember that God is with those that are brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit.
We are currently living out one of the most anxious times in our lives. Things are difficult, people are difficult and on top of that, we are on lock down.
That’s a recipe for disaster!
However, there’s only one person that can save the day… Enter, Jesus Christ.
Today, I would like to talk about some of the things that he can do.
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Isaiah 26:3
To name only a few attributes of my God:
•Almighty One – “…who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8
•Advocate – “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father–Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.” 1John 2:1
•Authority – “Jesus said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew 28:18
•One Who Sets Free – “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36
•Peace – “For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,” Ephesians 2:14
He is also; the Open door, the Way, the Truth, our Counselor ,The vine, the Victorious one, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the fourth man in the fiery furnace, our Battle Cry.
Almighty God, The Great I Am, Immoveable Rock, Omnipotent, powerful, Awesome Lord.
Victorious Warrior, Commanding King of Kings, Mighty Conqueror!!
He’s majestic, he’s love, he’s hope, he’s peace, and he’s truth!
He said that he would never leave us or abandon us. We do not walk alone, God is with us, at all times.
Another wonderful thing that God does for us. He tells us what’s going to happen, through his Prophets.
“For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.”
Amos 3:7
So, fear not. God‘s got you covered! Seek his face, pray and trust him and wait. He wins this evil battle!
Many blessings,
Connie
