A Heart As Big As The Ocean…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Last evening, I sat with my granddaughter doing a craft for Valentine’s Day. Her little heart was so full of love for everyone it made this grandmother almost weep. Her heart is as big as the ocean. I pondered after for a bit about the human heart. Maybe that’s why God says to come to him like a child. Truly, I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:3)
It seems quite simple doesn’t it? As adults in a complicated world, we can complicate life pretty easy. Let’s Pray:
Father, your Word in Matthew 18 tells us a lot about who will enter the kingdom of God. At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. (Matthew 18:1-5)
Father, examine our hearts today and create in us a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. (Psalm 51:10) Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Let’s keep it simple.
