Not very often do I share my ‘unofficial polls’. My unofficial polls are by phone or in person to keep my pulse on what the average person like me and Sharon is thinking. It helps me so very much in my preaching and news reporting here at FGGAM.ORG. If you know me I love people and I love to talk to strangers! The average American is going about his or her business, if they have a job, so many are unemployed, as the folks in Washington fight each other and the people’s business goes undone. My poll shows over the last month and a half the vast majority of people I have talked to are fed up with both the Republicans and Democrats. Many have or are in the process of leaving their respective parties to become Independents! They are very sick of the politics. The majority blame both sides! I could not agree more! The majority of politicians are out to save their own hide. I received, to me no surprise, The vast majority of Republicans in New Mexico are fed up with the leadership of the party in this state. Steve Pearce is a poor leader, for sure. Eddy Aargon is mentioned by folks as someone they are willing support. Eddy is the owner/operator/talk show host at ABQ FM and KIVA AM 1600. I was out a lot today visiting with people at places like Smith’s, the Dentist office and other places. Its like what I used to do in my days in radio years ago in Sidney Montana, I would take to the streets and ask people what they thought. Take it for what it is worth but I try to keep my pulse on the average American, like you and me.

America needs a strong third party, the GOP and Dems are lost in a pit of mud. Remember, politics is the playground of Satan, we are seeing it play out right before our eyes today and everyday! Do not let Satan blind you to the truth! The truth is not found in a Republican or Democrat, it is only found in JESUS! JESUS! JESUS! FGGAM.ORG Always a Biblical Worldview not a Political Worldview! PS: I have been an Independent for years!!! I have been lied to over the years by both parties, as a news reporter and Pastor! The Dems have been lost for years, supporting to kill God’s babies and the GOP has been imploding for the last 5 years and it may split into threes? When you have goof balls like Lindsey Graham and Kevin McCarthy leading your party you have major problems.

So many in America have made politicians and politics their God. They have been blinded by Satan. Many drink the Kool-Aid of either party, when they need to sit down and have communion with our Lord.

It is like retreating to the non-Christian world. This is why FGGAM will stand in the gap for God on social media as long as HE SAYS SO! Christians should not seek a so called ‘safe haven’ on social media. Minister to the world! Carry out the Great Commission! If you have followed me over the last 15 years or more you will know that I stress carrying out the Great Commission to win souls for the Kingdom of God! We go out from the walls of the Church. I get asked, “Where is your Church Pastors?” I tell them it is the world! We are to stand in the gap for God and carry pout the Great Commission, it is a command not a suggestion. The most famous version of the Great Commission is in Matthew 28:16–20, where on a mountain in Galilee Jesus calls on his followers to make disciples of and baptize all nations in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Church is failing big time in this! The American Church loves preaching to the choir! Read on the life of Paul. The Church here in America got to comfortable, they love fancy buildings and all sorts of fancy, dancy. I pray sometime I can visit the underground Churches in China!

According to a new study by Lifeway Research, 49 percent of Protestant pastors in the US say they frequently hear members of their congregation repeat conspiracy theories. Many Christians have taken their eye off the ball and Satan is having his way with many.

Whatever you do, behave yourself and do not spew hate! Way too many Christians are spewing hate, showing an unbelieving world just what to wants to see: crazy Christians.

Timothy Plan: ‘There Is Great Value in Standing Firm and Using Social Media to Spread the Gospel’

ORLANDO, Fla.— The war of words being exchanged on social media has no boundaries and infects denominations, cultures, politics, and more. In the face of Big Tech’s censorship of Christian voices and viewpoints, many feel it’s time to leave Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google and others.

 

However, “The idea of Christians abandoning social media entirely is troubling,” says Cara Groenendaal, Timothy Plan Social Media Strategist. “As new platforms start entering the arena, we can begin using social media alternatives like Christian-owned Gab.com, or perhaps others like Parler (if it gets back online) and MeWe. But this doesn’t mean abandoning the dominant platforms.

“What would Jesus have us do with social media? Would He ask us to turn our backs and avoid opportunities for evangelism?”

 

Groenendaal says that Christians don’t have to flee and unplug. Instead, “We should strive to be good stewards of our time online. We can be beacons of hope and engage and encourage others with the Gospel. Christians are responsible for carrying forth the Gospel; whether we share it in person or use one of the Big Tech platforms, our mission should never cease.”

 

In reviewing the Scriptures, believers would be hard-pressed to find a passage where God warns against evangelizing in hostile or ungodly nations. “We are commanded to do as the disciples did after the resurrection of Christ,” Groenendaal says. “All 12 put themselves at great risk and peril to spread the Gospel and paid the ultimate price. James, Judas (not Iscariot) and Matthias were stoned to death. Andrew, Peter, Phillip and Simon were crucified. Thomas was speared. John was exiled. Today, our most significant risks are censorship, ridicule and criticism. If we could make a difference in one person’s life, shouldn’t we accept the challenge?”

Abraham Hamilton, III Examines Why America Has Stopped Believing in God

American Family Radio Host of ‘The Hamilton Corner’: ‘Almost All of It Is Attributable to Education’

TUPELO, Miss. —Abraham Hamilton, III, host of The Hamilton Corner radio program on American Family Radio, is passionate about discovering the root cause of America’s cultural demise. A grave concern and recent show topic was “Why America Has Stopped Believing in God.” Hamilton points to Lyman Stone’s American Enterprise Institute research. “Religious conservatives would probably cite the loosening of the country’s morals that began in the sixties and seventies,” says Hamilton, American Family Association (AFA, www.afa.net) general counsel and public policy analyst. “Secular progressives might mutter something about the onward March of science and reason over time. But the data seemed to show that the main driver of secularization in the United States has been an acceleration of government spending on education and government control over the curricular content taught in schools.”

 

“Now the study wasn’t focusing on American education,” explains Hamilton. “The study was based on the effort to determine statistically and with empirical analysis, how did America become so secularized? The facts drove the American Enterprise Institute researchers toward education. I have said numerous times education is discipleship. The concept of separating academic matriculation and the spiritual development is an unbiblical concept.

 

“And I know there are exceptions to this. There are godly men and women who are teaching in schools across our country. And there are people, children who have become faithful to Jesus Christ surviving these government indoctrination centers. But if we were to be honest, we would have to admit that those are exceptions and not the rule. And one of the evidences of this normalization of godlessness is that we often endeavor to try to treat the exceptions as if they are the rule, but it is high time for us to be honest as to what’s happening in our country, we didn’t get here overnight.”

 

Stone cites the seminal work of Raphael Franck and Laurence Iannaccone on this point, who meticulously tracked religious behavior over time in their own work. According to Franck and Iannaccone, “higher educational attainment did not predict lower religiosity: More and less educated people are similarly religious.” Nor did they “find that industrialized, urban life reduces religiosity: A more urban and industrialized population was associated with greater religiosity.” The link between intellectual progression/modernization and secularization is non-existent.

 

Stone’s data suggests that, by and large, kids brought up in religious households stay religious and kids who are not, do not. Consequently, childhood religiosity has been, and remains, the most important indicator of America’s religious trajectory. The story of religious decline in America is not the story of adults consciously rejecting the faith of their forefathers: It is the story of each generation receiving a more secular upbringing than the generation preceding it. What accounts for this secularization of childhood over time? Taxpayer dollars.

 

“American secularization did not occur because those who are overtly atheist and agnostic continued to proliferate in American society,” Hamilton explains. “Through the secularization of education, Satan has gained entree into the church and carried off as captives the offspring born into Christian families. Each generation in America within the family became more and more secularized among the ranks of the church attending.”

 

According to Stone, children learn more at school than reading, writing, and arithmetic. The government run education system imbibes a whole set of implied assumptions about what is important in life by excluding religious instruction from public schools. The education system tacitly teaches students that religious commitments are not a first order priority in life.

 

“We must have our eyes targeted toward the root, not merely the fruit,” Hamilton says. “What do you think the consequences will be? If generation after generation of Americans are taught that God is nothing more than a take it or leave it proposition when He himself says, ‘I am the Lord, your God, you shall have no other gods before Me.’ By excluding religious instruction from public schools, the government run education system tacitly teaches students that religious commitments are not a first order priority in life. Faith in God becomes a sort of optional weekend hobby akin to playing tennis or video games.”

 

The content of education matters, Stone reported. Evidence that education reduces religiosity is fairly weak: American religiosity rose considerably from 1800 until the 1970s, despite rapidly rising educational attainment. But the evidence that specifically secular education might reduce religiosity is more compelling. Indeed, statistically, most researchers who have explored long-run change in religiosity find that education-related variables, which Stone has argued are a proxy for secular education, can explain nearly the totality of change in religiosity.

 

“All the changes that many of us have witnessed in the moral fiber of America, the Christ receptivity versus the Christ diversion, almost all of it is attributable to education.

 

“There has been a normalized godlessness to such a degree in our country. We’ve been all too willing and comfortable to abide in that godlessness – so it’s only a matter of time to when the rebellion says, ‘Oh, so you all are comfortable with that? Let’s just push a little further.’ We didn’t get here overnight. There’s only one way out to repentance.”
