Don’t You Just Love John?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday was palm Sunday. We read the scriptures about people waving their palm branches as Jesus rode in to town that day. Actually, let’s read them together,

The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the king of Israel!” Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written: “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him. Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word. Many people, because they had heard that he had performed this sign, went out to meet him. John12:12-18

Jesus died but he arose again. Today, let’s ask him to make himself real to us, personal, and he will. There’s no reason to wait.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you because you died and rose again we can have life and life more abundantly (John 10:10) We didn’t have to wait to get our lives all cleaned up, you accept us as we are and change us into your likeness.

Father, John 14:6 Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Thank you for drawing people all across this globe. John 6:44 tells us that no one can come to Jesus unless the Father who sent Jesus draws them, and he will raise them up at the last day. (John 6:44)

Father, draw them we pray. Draw us all closer to you. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Read the book of John.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
