Master Of The Double Rain…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I had an appointment this morning, but it was cancelled, and my prayer time is running late. Here in Maine this week schools were cancelled at times, due to the heat.
Yesterday, I received a request to pray for rain for another part of the country. I immediately thought I can do that. A story came to mind about a friend of mine that prayed for the rain to stop and it did. I think I shared it with you all before, but I will share it once again just in case you missed it.
I have a friend that asked the Lord to stop the rain for a man that was working on her brothers chimney. The man asked her “why don’t you ask your God to stop the rain and if your God does, I will go to church with you tomorrow”. So she did. She went home and prayed and asked God to stop the rain. Yes, God stopped the rain all around this house. The man came by and told her that it never rained at her brothers house until after he was all done. It rained at all the other houses around her brothers place. Needless to say, the man went to church with her the next day.
That my friend is the God we serve. The all powerful, Almighty God, master of the wind and maker of the rain.
Let’s pray for double rain today. Let’s ask God for the rain that carries his healing for his people as well as the earth, healing rain. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, maker of heaven and earth we come before you today asking for rain. Father, master of the wind and the rain please rain on the earth today, wherever there is drought. We are thankful that you see the need before we even ask.
Father, in the rain we ask for the double kind. You said you would return double for our trouble. (Isaiah 61:7) We pray in that rain you are sending will carry the healing for peoples lives all across this globe. May hope arise in the lives of your people. May faith and expectancy arise in the lives of your people as they call on the one true God in which man can be saved. Amen.
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. (John 14:12-14)
Somebody shout, Jesus! somebody shout, rain! Somebody shout, double rain! Let the earth and the people receive.
