And God Said…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I am especially drawn to a quote by G.K. Chesterton this morning. There is a great man who makes every man feel small. But the really great man is the man who makes every man feel great. Can you imagine if we practiced this as every day?
We have the power to build up others and help them to believe in whom God created them to be. We are all original, designed by God’s handiwork. We all were created in his image. We don’t need to compare ourselves to anyone, just to God himself.
As Christians we are all working for the same Kingdom. Let’s be great working in his kingdom today. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for creating us in your image. You give us assignments every day. You tell us all about this in Matthew 25. Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you visited me. Then the righteous will answer Him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?
And the King will reply, truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
Father, thank you that our greatness is in you. Give us divine appointments today, set up by you. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” Genesis 1:26
