Blessed Beyond Measure…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I felt to get my blessings bucket out once again. The blessings of God overtake us according to his Word. I love that he watches over his Word and he fulfills it. My bucket overflows, yes, my blessing bucket overflows.
The Lord had said to Abram, Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:1-3
One evening of recent, I was home packing my suitcase to go visit my brother. I felt a strong urge to get dressed and go to a church meeting. The hour was late at 8:00 PM, but I knew I was supposed to partner with them. When I walked in, an opportunity arose for me to pray for people. I asked permission first, just to make sure I was hearing correctly, but then joined the line-up. As my prayers and words of knowledge began to flow, even I was amazed. I thanked God for the opportunity to work in his Kingdom and then I hurried home to finish my packing. I had hoped my morning departure would be early to make the eight or nine hour drive. What a blessing.
God has allowed me the opportunity to pray for people and he healed them. God has flowed through me with words of wisdom and words of knowledge. I just show up because he has lead me. My heart overflows from all the blessings. Even when things have been tough in my life (and they have been tough), God shows up with more blessings than I can contain.
Today, be a blessing to someone. Let’s give from the overflow of a heart sold out to working in the Kingdom of God. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the blessings that overtake us. Father, thank you for using ordinary people to do exploits in your Kingdom. Thank you for the many gifts and talents you have given each of us.
Father, lead us today to be a blessing. You are not a God that you should lie. You go before us and you also are our rear guard. (Isaiah 52:12)
Father, give us Kingdom assignments today. Our blessing bucket is overflowing.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. As God told Abraham to go, he is telling us the same.
