Are You Guilty Of Over Thinking?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. My very first thought this morning when I awoke, was what are you thinking? I thought to myself, I haven’t had time to think about anything yet, God? I like to meditate on scripture and spend some time in prayer before I think about too much, but I, just like many of you are guilty of over thinking.
Some mornings my thoughts immediately go to what I need to accomplish on that day. Other mornings, I think about appointments, bills, etc. Sometimes, I have even picked up some burdens that I laid at his feet the day, week, month or year before. I give it to him, then take it back. Give it to him, take it back. I ask for his help and then I try to do it all myself. It’s like playing tug of war with God. It’s learning to trust in someone who will never break your trust.

Father, your Word tells us in Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Father, thank you that you have a plan and it’s a good one for every person across this globe. You desire people to believe your Word and meditate on it every day. You desire for us to lay our burdens at your feet and take your yoke, which is easy and light. (Matthew 11:29). No matter what a reader is going through today you are bigger, greater and you have the answer. As we choose to think good thoughts and give our burdens to Jesus, we can enjoy our days. You are for us and you will help us.
Father, today we stand against depression, suicidal thoughts, hopelessness and discouragement for people all across this globe. We join our faith and declare God’s Word over every life.
Father, may we all just be held today by the man that created us and choose to praise him as we all learn to trust you. Thank you that you will never leave us nor forsake any of your children. (Deuteronomy 31:8) Amen.
