What Will You Deliver Today?

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I have had a few days trying to process all that is going on around me lately. Am I doing enough?

Last year as I was puttng up signs for the Healing Waters Women’s Conference 2020, I met two new people in this small little town that God Himself led me to. One behind a closed door and one on the street.

In the last month both of these beautiful people are no longer living. One struggled with a substance use disorder and the other, well I am just not sure.

As I prayed with them both on that first divine appointment, a little over a year ago, I never imagined it would be their last year here on earth.  I can still remember the day. A closed business that had a small sign that read, if you have a delivery, ring the bell. I thought to myself, have a delivery, I have a delivery. I want to deliver the good news of Jesus Christ. I rang the bell. I wish I could remember all that I prayed that day, but I can’t.

The elderly woman would call and we would drive food up to her. Some Sunday’s after church we dropped a Tasty Freeze lunch off at her front door. Some said she took advantage of me, but I guess I didn’t really care. I didn’t know her story, I just wanted to meet her unmet need. Although, I never got past the front door until her final day, I was there to say good-bye as the ambulance gave her, her last ride.

The young man that helped me shop for something to put in my grandkids treat bag last week that seemed so happy, I will not see again. He was the same young man I prayed with on the street, that day a little over a year ago. He too went on to his heavenly home.

I ponder all the fancy messages that will be brought all across pulpits today. Will they include Jesus. Is the church still Jesus to the people all week long?

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for your love. Father, give us messages across pulpits today from your throne room. Father, may they be true heart felt assignments from God Himself.

Father, thank you for divine appointments. Father, may we be faithful to the end with the people you give us the privilege to meet today and possibly feed tomorrow.

Father, teach us to more than just pray. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Assignment ready?

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’Matthew 25:35-40
