It take no pleasure at all in reporting this news, but it is important to do so to show people how messed up the American Church as a whole has become. Even the Christian news sites are turning into crime news, as Pastors breaking the law is increasing as times go on. We must understand that many Christians are showing an unbelieving world just what it wants to see…crazy Christians. I am from the old school, Give me some of that ‘old time religion’
Sharon and I are surely not part of this world, we are forever with JESUS!
I am not part of the modern day Church. Much of the church in America has turned ‘Hollywood.’ fancy dancy, smoke and mirrors, money, big buildings, big budgets. Long-time Pastor Don Kimbro of Albuquerque puts it this way, “Many pastors (again in my opinion) may be too busy trying to keep up with the three B’s: Budgets, Buildings and Butts (in the pews). Is God still looking for men like the “sons of Issachar who understood the times” (1 Chronicles 12:32)?
I saw this report this week on Facebook. I worked in radio at KGCX in Sidney, Montana back in 1979. I still have friends from my days there. I am so very thankful I got my start in radio there, as the community adopted me! Such a great area to start my radio life! When I read this report in the Sidney newspaper, I shook my head in sadness and said, “Lord help this young man.” I am sad to say at my age, yes I am an old man of God, I have seen too many pastors fall. Oh my, I could write more than one book of what I have seen in the Church and Christian radio, the good, bad and ugly! What is going on here? I will say that the Baptist Church sure is having its battles with it self. It has imploded. When I looked at the website Protestia, my spirit got so very sad. All this stuff that is going on here is not of GOD! Too many Christians are showing an unbbeliving world just what it wants to see! The Church has lost its influence in America.

Here is a life that we can learn from…….
Watchman Nee, Ni Tuosheng, or Nee T’o-sheng (Chinese: 倪柝聲; pinyin: Ní Tuòshēng; November 4, 1903 – May 30, 1972), was a Chinese church leader and Christian teacher who worked in China during the 20th century. His evangelism was influenced by the Plymouth Brethren. In 1922, he initiated church meetings in Fuzhou that may be considered the beginning of the local churches. During his thirty years of ministry, Nee published many books expounding the Bible. He established churches throughout China and held many conferences to train Bible students and church workers. Following the Communist Revolution, Nee was persecuted and imprisoned for his faith and spent the last twenty years of his life in prison. He was honoured by Christopher H. Smith (R–NJ) in the US Congress on July 30, 2009.[1]

The Church in America HAS lost its effect on American families:
From CBN: Love the research by George Barna!
Millennial moms and dads aren’t passing on a biblical worldview to their children, according to research conducted by Dr. George Barna at Arizona Christian University’s Cultural Research Center. More Here
“Most of the parents of young children in America if they were to die today – probably would not wind up in heaven,” said Dr. Barna.
It’s a bold statement stemming from his study that suggests American parents are experiencing a worldview dilemma. It says the overwhelming majority of American parents today lack a biblical worldview.
FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:
“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”
