The God Of The Extra…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday, I was sharing with a friend about a mission trip I went on. We had believed God for the exact amount of money that we needed with nothing extra, not even a package of gum or a possible needed taxicab ride. The morning we were leaving, I said my morning prayer and prayed something like God, I didn’t even ask you for anything extra. What if we needed a taxi cab ride or what if we wanted some chewing gum? My heart was pure before him, as I discussed the details of the trip in prayer that morning.
My sisters came to pick me up and we were headed to the airport. As I lifted my suitcase to put in her trunk, my other sister put some cash in my hand and her words that morning were this; just in case you need a taxi cab or wanted some chewing gum, I wanted you to have a little extra. Her one hundred dollars in my hand that morning brought assurance God had not only heard my prayers, but he was the one that was leading the mission.
This morning, let’s thank God he is the God of the extra. Let’s thank him for leading us this day. Amen? Amen.

Father, thank you for the many blessings you bestow upon us. You are a good Father and the many ways you provide continually amaze me. More than provision, knowing that you hear the exact words and tell someone that can hear your voice as well, makes this girl rest assured you truly work all things out for our good. (Roman 8:28)
Father, for all the times when we didn’t know you were even there, you saw us through the trials and tribulations of life, and we give you thanks. Amen.
