A Gift That Can’t Be Bought…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. A friend shared with me recently about the passing of her father and how every one of his grandchildren, some whom he hardly seen much in their lives because of distance, all remembered their granddad. On their birthday he would call and pray for them. He was faithful to every grandchild to pray for them, and they heard the prayer especially on their special day, their birthday.
That conversation has stayed with me as yesterday at church we prayed for the next generation. Let’s together do the same this morning.
Let’s Pray:
Father, this morning we pray for the next generation. Father, we pray a blessing over them, we pray they will have an encounter with you that will sustain them all the days of their lives.
Father, we pray that they too will recognize and experience the generational blessings, because of the faithful prayers of the saints before them.
Father, we pray that they will be drawn by the spirit of God to read your Word and believe your Word and Receive your Word.
Father, thank you for watching over your Word to perform it in the lives of our children and grandchildren and the youth of this nation. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people, be a blessing to the youth today.
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations. Deuteronomy 7:9
