Our hearts are broken with all the destruction in Florida. We are in constant prayer for all those that are in harms way, we pray for all those that have lost everything, we pray for all the first responders, we pray for all those that have been injured, we pray the hurricane will end now, Lord help all the people, in JESUS name, Amen!

From AOL NEWS:

Hurricane Ian swamped a Florida hospital from both above and below, the storm surge flooding its lower level emergency room while fierce winds tore part of its fourth floor roof from its intensive care unit, according to a doctor who works there.

Dr. Birgit Bodine spent the night at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, anticipating the storm would make things busy, “but we didn’t anticipate that the roof would blow off on the fourth floor,” she said. Story Here

FROM CBN:

Hurricane Ian carved a path of destruction in southwestern Florida, leaving two million Floridians without power. While it’s now a tropical storm, other state governors are declaring emergencies as Ian heads north. Here’s what you need to know.

Pastor Jerry McCullah leads us in prayer:

Our Father, Creator and LORD of the heavens and the earth: All elements of nature obey Your command. We know that we cannot control the oceans, move the mountains, nor calm the weather without Your running interference on our behalf.   While on earth, You saved Your disciples from injury or death in the storm with Your Word for it to be still.  Therefore we humbly ask, You weaken Hurricane Ian’s power while protecting all in her path. Watch over everyone, their loved ones, friends, many of whom have to evacuate. We pray for all the first responders who are in harms way  Shield them as they make ready. Give them strength, courage, and determination to face these uncertain events. Answer their prayers and ours that they be blessed with good, and be free from injury or loss of home.  Help us all to remain safe in Your shelter, and to be grateful for all You do for us.  In Jesus Name we Pray On! Amen
