Be Still and Know That I Am God

When we make time daily to be silence before God, we will find our minds and spirit at peace. Being quiet can be a struggle, but it can also be a good virtue to have. When you are able to find that place and wait on the Lord you are positioning yourself to hear his still small voice.

It is easy to get in a panic and end up being driven by our circumstances,  fears and doubts . But His words tell us in

Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.

Sometimes we must go before the Lord and stand still in His presence. Silence is  our source of strength. God hears the silent prayer of a sincere heart.

Psalm 62:5-6 My soul waits in silence for God only for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation. My stronghold I shall not be shaken.

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait I say on the Lord .

Be still in the Lord and remember the times that he has  helped you . God promises that he will never leave you. So trust him and rest in him and wait to hear his still small voice for the quieter you become the more you will hear.

Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield my heart trusts in him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

Be blessed and encouraged by the Word of God
