I am thankful that the Albuquerque Journal and Santa Fe New Mexican are reporting on this story! I pray it moves Ronchetti to be clear where he stands on the lives of God’s babies. I thank Pastor Steve Smothermon for his strong stance on abortion. I pray that other Pastors would be stand up for God’s babies. Why are so many Pastors afraid to stand with God and His babies? There is no middle ground with God. What will you say when you are on the judgement seat?

Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder”

I have taken some hits for my stance on aborting God’s babies, even from Pro-life folks. I am in all the way for God’s babies from conception to death. What is so hard to say that if you are a Christian? New Mexico GOP candidate Mark Ronchetti is wishy-washy on this issue. I have trouble with this guy. How do you not stand for GOD and His creation. By not doing so, you are putting yourself above GOD!  I am very, very disappointed in Ronchetti and the GOP. Many Republicans around the country are caving on this issue and like U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham saying they support abortion up to 15 weeks.

It is a horrible situation in America when many are putting themselves above God. It seems to me Ronchetti, Graham and many others are playing political games with God’s babies. VERY TRAGIC! Show us you got some guts Ronchetti, and that you can make decisions rather than playing games with God’s babies. Elections in America are all coming down to voting for the lesser of two evil’s. Makes me sick. I pray for leaders, not more chameleons!!!!!

Pastor Seve Smothermon of Legacy Church, one of the largest churches in New Mexico,  said GOP gubernatorial candidate for governor, Mark Ronchetti told him earlier this year he wanted to outlaw abortion access stood by his original statement that the candidate told him one thing on the issue and the public another.

Here is how the ABQ Journal and Santa Fe New Mexican are reporting on this story.

From one of the debates between Ronchetti and Lujan Grisham reported by the ABQ Journal:

“You’d have to ask Pastor Smothermon that, but I told him everything I’ve told everybody else in this (race),” Ronchetti said during the debate. “And that is that I am pro-life, but I believe this is a very personal issue and we need to treat it as such.”

He also said he has never called for a complete abortion ban, an assertion he has also made in interviews.

Ronchetti’s money machine is not offering any comment.

FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:

“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”
