Power Up For Christmas…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday I spent some time baking with my daughter. The weather has been a bit challenging here in Maine and we lost electricity. As I drove home in the darkness, not many vehicles were on the road. For a moment I just stopped and thanked God for fresh power. The kind that will shine even in the darkest of times.
I stopped to fill my empty tank of gas and the gentleman pumping the gas informed me the power was completely out in his town. I ventured next to the local store and the lights went out and I made my way out to my car thanking God for Jesus, light of the world.
Even when the world seems dark, thank God for the power of the cross. Thank him for the joy he brings to us each and every day.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the cross. Thank you for Jesus, Emmanuel, God with us. Father, thank you that no matter what happens all around us, you dwell inside the human heart. Nothing can snuff you out and you will never lose your power. Thank you that you fill us up with the same power. Even in the darkest of times, our light shines bright.
Father, thank you for fresh power, fresh anointing as we celebrate the birth that changed the world forever. Jesus, the most powerful man, name, the anointed one, thank you for fresh infilling today. Power to change the world. Amen.
