3 Insights That Encourage Spiritual Conversations
Olivia Eanes, a soft-spoken, Southern woman, held her faith quietly to herself, as many evangelicals do. Thoughtfully and intentionally, she showed her love for God by devoting herself to Scripture. Conversations about faith happened in church settings like Bible Studies or Sunday School. In her mind, telling someone how to become a Christian meant following a memorized gospel presentation. This is a great article! Witnessing to others about the goodness of God and leading someone to Jesus can be intimidating. Coworkers are challenging, as so many workplaces frown on these sorts of discussions – regardless of whether it is formally addressed in policy, and it only takes one person to not appreciate your witness and then a complaint is filed. Realizing the work and fruit of salvation belongs to the Lord, not us, is a great point. Pride is a funny thing…I preach to myself!
