Joyful Monday…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Do you have joy today? The joy of the Lord is our strength. (Nehemiah 8:10) Our joy doesn’t depend on whether everything is going great and there are no obstacles. Our joy comes from living, dwelling and being rooted in Christ Jesus. If we waited for everything to be A-ok before we had joy, we probably would spend most of our days downcast. Praise God he fills our lives with joy. Amen?
Today if you need joy, declare his Word over your life and let the river of joy flood your soul.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for joy today. Psalm 47 tells us to clap our hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved. God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.
Father, thank you that your love endures forever. We can have joy today because that is our inheritance in you. (Psalm 136)
