From FAITHWIRE: A girls basketball team at a Christian high school in Vermont forfeited the state’s playoff tournament last week because it refused to compete against a team with a transgender athlete who is male.
“We believe playing against an opponent with a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players,” said Vicki Fogg, head of the Mid Vermont Christian School. More Here
“Got Questions’ The Bible nowhere explicitly mentions transgenderism or describes anyone as having transgender feelings. However, the Bible has plenty to say about human sexuality. Most basic to our understanding of gender is that God created two (and only two) genders: “male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27). All the modern-day speculation about numerous genders or gender fluidity—or even a gender “continuum” with unlimited genders—is foreign to the Bible. More Here
