Are You Seeing Clearly?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Have you ever been blindsided? A friend and I went shopping and after a stop for a great Japanese dinner, we thought we could get some more shopping in before the stores closed. As we were switching lanes, she checked her mirror to make sure we were all set to get into the right lane. Either of us saw any vehicle and she proceeded to make the lane change. We heard a beep and stopped and looked once again. Nothing, we saw nothing and proceeded to get into the right lane. Then that’s when the blue lights came on and we really stopped then. After a few moments a police officer, a very upset police officer came to her window. We almost hit his cruiser. Let’s just say it wasn’t a friendly, you have a light out police check. Have you been drinking he asked my shopping buddy? She was nervous, a bit upset and frightened she didn’t see him. Neither of us drink alcohol and we couldn’t figure out why we didn’t see him. This didn’t seem like a destiny moment. I sat quietly on the passenger side and prayed.
We had gotten a late start to our shopping adventure that morning, as I had an appointment for an eye exam. It’s a bit funny this morning as I think back on the adventures of last Friday. I am sure it wasn’t funny for the young officer. He probably was wondering what he would find when he walked up to the driver’s window. After a bit he was calm and sent us on our way and told us to drive careful. I will continue to pray for him as I am sure he deals with a lot.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for giving your angels charge over us. (Psalm 91) Father thank you for your protection. You are a good God, and we are blessed every day as the light of Christ shines brightly on the earth.
Father, help us not to be blindsided by the enemy of our soul. Shine your light in our lives, through our lives and may the love of God spread like wildfire around the world today. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. You are loved!
