Prayer, Good For The Mind, Body, Soul & Spirit…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Yesterday, I went for a recent doctor’s visit. They took my vital signs, and all is well. I was thinking this morning how vital prayer is in our lives. I believe prayer is essential for everyday living.

When you don’t know what to do, pray. When you know what to do, pray. When you have needs, pray. When you are blessed, pray. When you are worried, pray. When you feel alone, pray. When you have an emergency situation, pray. One thing about prayer is God is always listening and always answers.

Recently, I spoke with some friends about worry. Come on now, who has worry? I admit sometimes, I worry. Then, I have to take a few steps back and look at God’s record. It’s easy to talk about it, read about it, but not always easy to journey it. Worry is not our portion, trusting God is. Sometimes it’s easier than at other times, and I am not sure why. How can we go wrong, when we journey life every day, with the Creator of the Universe?

Today, there are people all around us that are worried. They worry about their tomorrows.  Give them a dose of hope and joy today. Light their candle by sharing yours. Amen? Amen.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for the power of prayer. Thank you for working all things out for our good. (Romans 8:28)

Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord  has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. (Psalm 126:2-3)

Father, thank you for meeting people’s needs all across this world today. Show yourself strong on their behalf.

Father, thank you that we can cast all our cares upon you and enjoy our day, the day that you have given to us. May we laugh often this day and share some joy with another, that they too may find rest for their weary soul. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Find some laughter in your day and enjoy life. You are loved!
