Remember….Education without action is entertainment! Are you just being entertained in Church? Do you just entertain yourself by picking and choosing what you believe in the Bible? We are to put our Christian education to action, not to rest!
I just love it when the Lord shows me everyday what to post at FGGAM. One of my themes that the Lord has given to me is to WAKE UP people who claim to be Christians. My goodness! Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview, I guess many here in America pick and choose what they want from the Bible, and many Pastors do the same, just 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview. Many Republicans are even back tracking on abortion! They think they are GOD! I have always said that politics is the playground of Satan, look what has happened to the GOP, they are at war with themselves. It stinks to high heaven! I smell it everyday! The DEMS have been lost for years. Satan is gaining ground here in America big time.
When I saw this message in Churchleaders I had to share it with you! I adore what Robin Rigg says about carrying your Cross, “It means braving the dangers of an evil world for the sake of an unbendable love for God and for people.” Are you???????
What does it mean to carry your cross? As a teenager, I once heard my pastor say that Jesus has many admirers, but not enough followers. That statement stuck in my mind. There are many who attend church weekly, but their professions of Christianity may be lived out superficially, or at any rate at their convenience. Following Jesus is not merely acknowledging His existence, or “agreeing” with His teachings. Following Jesus means to walk in His footsteps. It means to take upon yourself His purpose and mission in the world. It means braving the dangers of an evil world for the sake of an unbendable love for God and for people.
