The Light That Is Always Shining…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I awake early this morning. The light of day hasn’t broken through quite yet. I ask myself questions like girl you can sleep in a bit today, what are you thinking? I listen to the quietness of the morning as I wait for the light of day and begin my morning routine.
Every day is a new beginning. John 1: 5 tells us that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. I have had some experiences this week when darkness met the light within. I never argue people into believing in Jesus, he gives us all free will. My prayer is that they will experience the light of Christ for themselves.
It makes me think of the scripture this morning in Psalm 34:8 taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for Jesus, light of the world. Thank you that Jesus has come to bring hope to a world that continues to grow in darkness. We thank you that nothing can snuff out the light, the light of Jesus Christ. There is no power on earth that can take your light away.
Father, may hope arise in our world today as eyes look to the hills from where our help cometh. I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. (Psalm 121 1-2) Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. May the light of Christ shine brightly across this globe, as we celebrate the birth of Christ. Spread the good news of hope today.
