God loves us even if we haven’t loved him.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us.

God wants us to know him.
The Bible says God is at work in our life. So that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might seek for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.
Acts 17:27
How long do you think You could keep a relationship with somebody going if you never talk to or have contact with them?
That relationship would fizzle out quickly!
It’s the same way in our relationship with God. Prayer is the key to keeping that relationship alive and well and fully functional.
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Jeremiah 29:12
You see, Some of us were taught to fear God in a bad way. To see Him as an angry or hard-to-please God, but scripture tells us something entirely different.
When we pray we don’t have to be afraid of not being able to perfectly follow certain rules or commands. Rather we also should know that God is a good, generous, loving and an absolute caring God.
We can pray with a confidence that our Father in heaven loves us and meets us where we are.
More than anything else, God longs to spend time with us, to have a relationship with us and He wants us to see Him as a God who desires to bless us!
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Hebrews 4:16
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
Revelation 3:20
He won’t pound on the door or kick it down, he’s a gentleman, he’ll wait for you patiently. He longs for you to answer.
We’re called to acknowledge God’s power, to pursue a personal relationship with Him, and to make this priority, on a daily basis.
Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!
1 Chronicles 16:11
He’s waiting patiently to hear from you.
