What a mess! KOB TV does a great work in breaking down this mess. BUT! The puzzle is not complete as it has more than a few missing parts. It seems to me the ‘passing of the buck’ on who is responsible has started. I also find it interesting that Mayor Keller was not at the latest news conference. Is he out of town? I do not know. BUT! Mayor Keller has been on site at major crime seems over the years to speak. I always wondered why the Mayor had to put in his two cents of needless PR! Now that we have this mess in his Police Department, where is he? The Mayor should be out in front of this disaster. Total breakdown of Public trust. My goodness! This dysfunction has been going on for years!
Who has been watching the chicken house? It is purely disgusting of have the alleged drunk drivers off scot-free! NO COURT HEARING!
KOB TV GOES DEEP INTO THIS MATTER: Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina held a news conference Friday afternoon to try to explain his department’s investigation on officers who missed court dates for DWI defendants represented by attorney Thomas Clear III.
The chief says his department has been relying on the Bernalillo County district attorney to let APD know when officers don’t show up for court. More Here
It is my belief if these officers are found guilty of any crime, they should not receive their pensions. We tax payers should not have to pay for dysfunction!
KOB TV: Was there a system to track APD officer court appearances?
In whatever we do we must have the UPMOST INTEGRITY AT ALL TIMES!
Got Questions states: In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word translated “integrity” means “the condition of being without blemish, completeness, perfection, sincerity, soundness, uprightness, wholeness.” Integrity in the New Testament means “honesty and adherence to a pattern of good works.”
Jesus is the perfect example of a man of integrity. After He was baptized, He went into the wilderness to fast for forty days and nights, during which time Satan came to Him at His weakest to try to break His integrity and corrupt Him. Jesus was wholly man and wholly God at the same time, and He was tempted in every way we are, yet He never sinned (Hebrews 4:15); that is the definition of integrity. Jesus is the only one who was ever without blemish, perfect, completely truthful, and always showing a pattern of good works. More Here
