FGGAM’s Co-Founder and Publisher, Pastor Dewey Moede, received correspondence today from Religious Liberty Defenders, P.O. Box 455 Leesburg, Virginia 20178, that included a special message from former U.S. Representative (Dr./MD) Paul Collins Broun, Jr. (R-GA). Congressman Broun served in the U.S. Congress from July 17, 2007 to January 3, 2015.
Congressman Broun’s message stated, in part, that he was seeking “immediate help to fight against a dangerous and deeply disturbing mockery of religion that is targeting the unborn,” and that “The Satanic Temple in New Mexico claims its [acts of] aborting babies are ‘religious ceremonies,’ thus exempting them from any state or federal restriction.” [NOTE: The Satanic Temple proudly discusses its Las Cruces, New Mexico abortion clinic on its website HERE. The clinic is referred to as “Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic.”]
Broun went on to say that The Satanic Temple’s abortions were essentially “modern day child sacrifice” and that such was not only an attack on the unborn, but an “affront to religious freedom, a gross exploitation of the U.S. Constitution, and a twisted anti-life experiment.”
Broun further stated that “in light of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, The Satanic Temple hopes to expand its depraved operations to foster free abortion and provide abortion drugs by mail to those who wish to perform The Satanic Temple’s religious abortion ritual.”
Broun pointed out that CitizenGo, a multi-country community of active citizens fighting back against abortion and headquartered in Madrid, initiated a petition drive to the New Mexico State Legislature named “Stop Satanic Temple’s Abortion Facility” on December 21, 2023. As of the writing of this FGGAM article, the petition had in excess of 67,000 signatures.
Broun is asking if other citizens would be willing to sign the petition, which may be viewed and signed HERE. He says that by signing the petition, you would be joining thousands of others in sending a clear message to elected officials, starting with New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, that we will not stand idly by while The Satanic Temple, or any person who supports its cause, makes a mockery of our values and beliefs.
Broun asserts that Governor Lujan Grisham is especially vulnerable to grassroots pressure because she “has national ambition, perhaps even to be President or Vice President.”
Broun concluded his message by thanking all who support his efforts in the fight against abortion, and expressed gratitude for all those fighting for life and freedom.
My brothers and sisters, FGGAM certainly agrees that the act of abortion is anything but health care, as its very purpose is to END a human life – the life of an unborn baby. The overwhelming majority of abortions are elective and even if abortions were to be banned after Week 15 of gestation – as many politicians have proposed or signaled agreement with – roughly 95% of all abortions would continue.

The bible says that God has a plan to give us peace, a future and a hope:

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.”
And, the bible says that God loves us so much, that He quiets us with His love and rejoices over us with singing:
