Yes! And Amen…
Good morning beautiful people good morning. God’s Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so, through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
Websters defines yes as an affirmative agreement and amen as to express solemn ratification (as of an expression of faith) or hearty approval. Sounds like God has it covered every which way. Ready for a great day? Ready to walk in your best year yet? Matthew 18:19-20 Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.
Let’s pray:
Father, we say Amen to this is the day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) Father you said to cast down imaginations and every high and loft thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. (2 Corinthians 10:5) We say Amen.
Father, your covenant promises to us are forever settled. Yes! Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the power and the glory forever. (Matthew 6) We all say Amen….
