The friendship of Jonathan and David is an awesome example of Christian friendship. Jonathan voiced one of the greatest statements about friendship in the Bible when he said to David, “Go in peace, for we have sworn friendship with each other in the name of the Lord, saying, “The Lord is witness between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants forever.” ISa 20:42
Now that is Biblical friendship!
God has made us for fellowship and communication with others and with himself. None of us were made to go at life alone. We need other people, and they need us.
Friendships are diving blessings in our lives! Glory to God in the Highest!
