The Christian Broadcasting Network (“CBN”) recently reported that State of New York Attorney General (“AG”) Letitia James is suing the pro-life group Heartbeat International (“HBI”) and 11 crisis pregnancy centers to force them to stop promoting abortion pill reversal services, claiming that the reversal pill cannot reverse the effects of the abortion pill.
AG James asserts that the reversal pill does not reverse the effects of an abortion pill, as touted by the abortion industry. She is asking a New York court to forbid HBI and the other centers from advertising abortion pill reversal treatments due to “false and misleading statements to advertise an unproven treatment” and claims that treatment to reverse in-process chemical abortions could be unsafe.
The Abortion Pill Rescue Network (“APRN”) website shares that there is a 64-68% success rate for woman who follow their protocol adding that “thousands of lives have been saved.” In fact, a 2018 peer-reviewed study published by Dr. George Delgado in the medical journal Issues in Law and Medicine found that 68% of women who started the reversal treatment were able to give birth to a healthy baby.

It is striking that abortion activists, in this case – AG James on behalf of the State of New York, refuses to support a woman who acknowledges a mistake and decides to chose life following the taking of abortion pill(s). For AG James and the State of New York, it seems that “death at all costs” seems to be the goal.
My brothers and sisters, the intentional killing of perfectly healthy unborn babies is NOT healthcare. Abortion is a lot of things, but it IS NOT a “human right” – quite the opposite, as the undeniable goal of the procedure is to kill a human, unborn baby.
AG James’ assertion that treatment to reverse an in-progress abortion could be “unsafe” is a bit rich considering that taking abortion pill(s) to self-initiate and self-complete a chemical abortion at home has clear risk to the pregnant mother (both physical and emotional).
Let’s not forget that scripture (The Ten Commandments) declares murder to be sin:
Exodus 20:13 (Amplified Bible)
“You shall not commit murder (unjustified, deliberate homicide).”
Let’s also not forget that the U.S. Declaration of Independence opens with the following statement:
“WE hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life [emphasis mine], Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness…”.
As followers of Jesus, let’s continue to pray for the lives of the unborn. Let’s pray that the love of Christ would reign in the hearts of those considering abortion, as well as the medical doctors and practitioners who somehow find it morally acceptable to perform this evil procedure. Lord have mercy upon us!
