Really no surprise here for Albuquerque residents that there is a wait time when you call for help. I have called 911 at times and all I get is a recording! I call 242-COPS and get the same at times. The city is a hell hole. We had a saying back in the day, “You can put lip stick on a pig, but its still a pig.” I smell hell from here in Taylor Ranch! We hear gunfire up here almost every night! Our neighborhood alert goes off almost EVERY NIGHT! There is no way the police can keep up with all the hell breaking loose here. We are asking to much of our officers. I have said for years the mayor needs to request help from the National Guard, in my old mind, its that bad. Would Kirtland Airforce Base help? I am sure the mayor will not ask because he does not want to ‘stain’ the reputation of the city! What a fool! The city is known by many around the world now as a very dangerous city to visit. It is getting worse here. ABQ Police arrest 11-year-old boy after violent crime spree. But Hey! There is a pot store and liquor store on every block! The Mayor is playing with peoples lives. Do I need to bring up abortions?
Sharon and I went downtown yesterday and we were on 4th street and had to avoid hitting homeless people on the street. Some were walking into traffic, others in the gutter. Breaks my heart to watch the breakdown of our society.
On another topic have you had your trash pick up missed? We have. The drivers are underpaid and the department is about 25 drivers short according the five employees I have talked to, three drivers and one manger and one assistant. I called our councilman Dan Lewis to voice my concern. The infra structure of Albuquerque is failing rapidly.

A local business owner got a call about a break-in at four in the morning, and he says the most frustrating part is how long it took police to respond.

Team Jesus, pray for all the city workers in Albuquerque, please. The Police, Fire, EMT’s, Ambulance services, sanitation workers, city park workers, all staff, please. They all are under extreme pressure.
No improvement will be seen until Albuquerque gets a law and order mayor and the state elects a law and order governor! The Church better get busy and carry out The Great Commission, as it all comes down to a heart for JESUS issue! FGGAM is a Great Commission Ministry!
