With furor and debate still raging over the Olympics’ opening ceremony depicting what many have taken as a drag-queen-driven mockery of the Last Supper, “The Chosen” creator Dallas Jenkins offered up his version of the biblical moment — and left fans deeply encouraged.
Jenkins posted a powerful image of Jesus and the disciples at the Last Supper — a photo recently captured while filming season five of the hit drama about Christ’s life and ministry.
“Is this better than the Olympics imagery?” he captioned the photo, with thousands of followers replying and liking the post. Among them was actor Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus in the show. He responded, “Emphatically yes.” More Here
Are Christians becoming less offended to non-biblical behavior? I beleive so…….It is the new world. The Church is losing its influence. If your Church ceased to exist would it be missed? Does anyone blush anymore? My daddy blushed up until he passed away into heaven! George Barna: “People have become more selfish, churches have become less influential, pastors have become less Bible-centric”

The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics provoked controversy for a parody of a Leonardo da Vinci’s famous Last Supper painting. Finished in the 1490s, this iconic mural, which still fills a 30-foot by 15-foot wall in Milan, Italy, has formed the Christian imagination about that critical biblical moment for over 500 years.
A debate circulated social media over the weekend as to whether the artistic directors for the Paris Opening Ceremony intended to produce a parody of the Last Supper or a parody of the Feast of Dionysus from Greek Mythology. Nevertheless, the messy hodgepodge of religious imagery—which placed drag queens (and more) in the place of saints and the Savior and the Greek god of parties at the center of the feast—caused an uproar. Satan has been devouring America for years and years, it is speeding up. JESUS! JESUS! Get out and share the love of JESUS! You are not going to change the world inside your walls! The ‘model’ of the American Church needs to change, no walls. Walk like JESUS!
A Country that kills God’s babies has no future. Even the GOP has caved on the killing of God’s babies! Shame!
Salt is missing in many Churches. Christians should enhance the flavor of life in the world, just as salt enhances the flavor of food. This means being peacemakers in times of strife, ministers of Christ in times of sorrow, and exemplifying God’s love in times of hatred. Too many Pastors are soaked in politics, they show the world hate. Look at this election process, do you hear Pastors speaking out against the hate? Many support potty mouth Politian’s, what does that show the world???!!! Both the DEMS and GOP and behaving very badly. Not Biblical! No role models here for our children and grandchildren, just nut cases. Shame.
JESUS! JESUS! Not politics! Have a Biblical Worldview! Glory!
Matthew 5:13-16/ MSG.
If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You’ve lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage. “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept.
People are hungry for the love of JESUS! We know, we see it and we share that love by carrying out The Great Commission1 We know no walls! Glory! Freedom in the Lord! What good are your walls? Is your Church full? If not, why not?
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
By this all people will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.
–John 13:34-35
