UPDATE: Family of APD officer killed in hit-and-run crash seeks answers
As I waited for Sharon in the ER at Rust Hospital yesterday I saw this report on my phone that officer Bianca Quintana had been killed. My heart dropped…………
I was sitting next of Officer Rico of APD, who was guarding a prisoner that needed medical attention at Rust when I saw the report. More Here
We pray for the family, friends and fellow officers of Bianca Quintana. We mourn with them.
If you would pray for Sharon we would be thankful. We will be going to a specialist to find out more about her condition. In the meantime, we thank God that nothing at this time ‘jumped out’ at the doctors there, they order more tests. We continue to pray for good reports. Thank YOU JESUS!
I must add that the entire staff at Rust was so loving to both Sharon and me. Very loving. We must be thankful for all of the folks that help us. Some walked out of the ER demanding immediate attention. The ER has full, we were there from Noon to 6PM. It is what is is. Please be loving at all times. Health Care are workers are doing the best they can in these demanding times. There are beds in the hallways in the ER.
By the way Officer Rico and I had a great talk. We all need to be so very thankful for all of our heroes. I saw many EMT’S and Firefighters brining in hurting people during our time in the ER.
