Last week when Sharon and I were at Rust Hospital for her procedure, I gave blood. We heard the announcement over the PA system and Sharon said to me, “Why don’t you give blood. while you wait for me.” Please pray for Sharon as she goes through medical tests. We are so very thankful for your prayers.
Please pray about giving blood…….they told me that when I gave, I helped 3 to 5 people! GLORY! They also told me when you give blood, it is like giving yourself an oil change! Ha!

Extreme heat and recent natural disasters are affecting the blood supply, the nonprofit says.
Not only is there a shortage of donations across the country, but there is also a specific need for Type O blood, according to Vitalant, an Arizona-based nonprofit that operates blood banks nationwide.

- Cardiovascular health: Donating blood can help maintain cardiovascular health.
