Thankful For The Autumn Season…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Today is the 50th day of autumn and we have 72 days left in 2024, our best year yet. The leaves have fallen off the trees now and the weather has surely changed. Time to pull out the sweaters, coats and get prepared for the next season of our lives. James 4 tells us that we do not know what our life will be like tomorrow. For we are just a vapor that appears for a little while, and then vanishes away. That’s why Gods Word tells us in Ecclesiastes 8:15; I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.

Another scripture comes to mind this morning from 1 Thessalonians 5. Rejoice always,  pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.

I want to live a life full of thanksgiving and joy. How about you?

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for this season of our lives. You are an amazing Father, and we have so much to rejoice about. Even in times that are less than perfect, we have much to be thankful for.

Father, you tell us in Philippians 4:6 to be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let our requests be made known unto God. It’s great to journey every day with the man that has all of our days in his hands.

Thank you for the blessings you have bestowed on us. We are rich today, because of the price you paid. Your blood poured out for us, was enough. Thank you for your mercy and grace.

Father, Colossians 4:2 tells us to devote ourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Thank you that you hear us when we call. Lead us today by your spirit, we pray. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. For this is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Happy Autumn…

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
