You can preach to politics by preaching God’s Word. You do not have to be nasty. Preach JESUS!
We have been following the increase in violent crime in Rio Rancho for over the last year or more. Albuquerque is in a very dangerous situation that continues to worsen, it has now spread into Rio Rancho, it was just a matter of time. Evil is sweeping across America like wildfire. We are seeing a breakdown of Christianity. Years and years of not carrying out The Great Commission has more than caught up with the Church. Losing Religion: More New Mexicans have stopped going to church. My mentor, the late Pastor Don Kimbro, told me years ago the lack of baptisims and helping raise up mature Christians would catch up with us, it surely has. Pastor Don Kimbro: Butts, Bucks and Buildings. As the breakdown of the American family speeds up, violence speeds up. So many children never have a chance to have a descent childhood, many never get to step into a Church, maybe later in life…we pray. So many of our children and young adults are suffering from mental health issues at this time in our country. Teen Mental Health Crisis Deepens: What to Know. Some mental health issues on the rise in New Mexico. We have created a mess for our children. This election season has been like hell. Both sides are guilty. Both sides need their mouths washed out with soap.
New Mexico slaughters God’s babies at a record pace. The Church and the GOP and DEMS are part of the blame. We have no Pro-life party in America, the GOP has backtracked and thrown the Pro-life movement under the bus. How can God be pleased with any of us? Much of the Church in New Mexico is silent on the killing of God’s babies. Where is the power of the Church? Where is the influence of the Church? I was taught much by the late Pastors Larry Moss and Don Kimbro, they both warned for years that this evil would happen. They both had programs on KKIM. How Pastor Larry Moss Changed My Life. Pastor Don wrote for God here at FGGAM until he passed into glory! I am sad that many here never got to meet these two great men of God. They never sought glory for themselves, they strived to glorify God on how they lived their lives, all sold out to God.
Yesterday I tool my Bible and what I had learned from people like Pastor Larry and Pastor Don and challenged the folks at ReAwaken City Church in Albuquerque to go and carry out The Great Commission. How can any of us be pleased with ourselves with babies being killed, teenagers being shot to death, and other evil??? How can you be pleased? Tell me?
America needs a come to JESUS meeting!
I think we all should spend less time on Facebook and more time out on the streets and byways sharing JESUS! Amen! Let us all work harder at building bridges of love and trust with an unbelieving world! Plant seeds for JESUS!

When I was in seventh grade, the best ballplayer on my Deer Creek Junior High basketball team was Jerry McGee. Jerry was an amazing athlete for a 13-year-old, but in a game against our biggest rivals he got confused about which basket was ours. Jerry stole the ball and made a fastbreak layup … for the other team! The scoreboard didn’t lie. He had just scored two points for the other team. And then it got worse: He did it again.
Scoreboards Never Lie
A scoreboard never lies. Whether in basketball, baseball or football, it succinctly displays the outcome of the game. Similarly, it is essential for a church to have metrics that provide an accurate reflection of progress and impact. Without honest assessments, it’s challenging to gauge whether a church is winning or not. More Here

How to Involve Your Small Groups in the Great Commission
The United States is experiencing a national mental health crisis among children and young adults. Mental health challenges are the leading cause of disability and poor life outcomes in this age group. Some concerning trends include:
- Depression and suicide: In 2023, 40% of high school students reported persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, and 20% seriously considered attempting suicide. In 2022, 13.4% of teenagers had serious thoughts of suicide, 6.5% made a suicide plan, and 3.7% attempted suicide.
- Pandemic impact: The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated these trends.
- Lack of services: There is a shortage of professional help providers, and many children wait in hospital emergency departments for help.
- Sticking to a schedule
- Eating well
- Staying physically active
- Getting quality sleep
- Staying hydrated
- Spending time outside
- Avoiding substances like alcohol, marijuana, vaping, and tobacco
- Being intentional about your use of social media, video games, and other technologies
- Talking to your family and friends about mental health
- Advocating for mental health at the local, state, or national levels
