Amplify Some Music From The Heart…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Helen Keller put it this way; the best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.
Recently, my grandson wanted to purchase a used amplifier. He made the arrangements and his mom, and I went to pick it up. He took the money from his wages of working the harvest. On our journey downstate we met the man that traveled the world as a musician. He told my daughter and I his passion for music came from the heart. His kind of music challenged me (heavy metal) and I pondered what else was in his heart. Do you believe in God? What about faith? I began to press in and inquire of the traveling man.
He told us about his time in England and other adventures his love for music took him. He really didn’t know what he believed as far God and faith. There’s something out there, some kind of power or force he shared. We said a quick prayer asking God if he was real, if he was the power and force to reveal himself to the traveling man. (Of course, we know God is real and with great expectation wait for what was to come for the great musician).
I don’t think I will ever forget the divine appointment with the man with the amp. His passion for music, our passion for him to know God makes my heart beat this morning.
What’s in your heart this morning?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your love for people. Your love is amazing and there is not a heart you won’t pursue today.
Father, we pray many will want to know the force, the power out there. The power of God’s love. Show them today as they open their heart. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Give God some praises this morning from your heart.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever. To him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever. who by his understanding made the heavens, His love endures forever. Who spread out the earth upon the waters, His love endures forever. Who made the great lights—His love endures forever. The sun to govern the day, His love endures forever. The moon and stars to govern the night; His love endures forever. (Psalm 136: 1-9)
