Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Thank you for coming by for a CUP! We love you so=
!
Last night I got a text from a man f=
rom Tennessee saying he needed inspiration! That i=
s why we are here each day to serve our Lord by putting forth the CUP! AMEN=
! I pray that you find this inspirational for your days to come……….
Faith! How is your faith?
Sharon and I are growing in our =
faith, how about you? We have grown much since the Lord established us in F=
GGAM. Sharon is now sought out as a speaker more than her husband! Her mess=
age of encouragement in these times is what people are wanting to hear. God=
has
anointed her to s=
peak life into the lives of his people. She got another invite yesterday. H=
er message lifts people up, not pushing them down. Today as I was reading, =
praying, and listening to God……God showed me that the Daily CUP is my l=
etter to fellow believers to share my testimony and that of others, like my=
angel Sharon. The Lord also has been showing me that FGGAM has become a mu=
lti-media ministry for the Lord. It has become more than the radio sta=
tion I looked after for years. The Lord has given us TV, Radio, but ev=
en more than that a web site that is going over gang busters for God’s Glor=
y Alone. But more important than this modern technology is that the Lord is=
sending me and Sharon out into the streets and roadways to minister to His=
people, whether that is in a Church, Hospital, in the gutter, like th=
e other day, it isn’t always pretty stuff, but it is do=
ing the work assigned us by our Lord Jesus Acts 20:24.  I ne=
ver dreamed that God would be doing this and reaching more and
=
more people like this. Faith! He did tell me to leave the radio station and g=
o out! Go and speak the word’s I give you and do the work I assign you, sai=
d the Lord.
Hebrews 11:8-12
It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home an=
d go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went wi=
thout knowing where he was going. And even when he reached the land God pro=
mised him, he lived there by faith=E2=80=94for he was like a foreigner, liv=
ing in tents. And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise. A=
braham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, =
a city designed and built by God.
It was by faith that even Sarah was a=
ble to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed th=
at God would keep his promise. And so a whole nation came from this one man=
who was as good as dead=E2=80=94a nation with so many people that, like th=
e stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count t=
hem.

Faith!
Many people are struggling with faith. They are&n=
bsp;
strug=
gling
with the absolute truth of God’s Word. I love this prayer that Kenneth E. Hagin shares in his book, “The Believers Absolute Authority”
Hagin says that the turning poin=
t in his life was taking Eph 3: 14-17 and turning Paul’s name to “me” =
Praying this way:
“For this cause I bow my knees u=
nto the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven =
and earth is named, That he would grant me, according to the riches of his =
glory, to be strengthened with
might by his&=
nbsp;
Spir=
it In
the inner man; That Christ may dwell=
in my heart by faith….”
Hagin says that her grew more by=
praying this than in 14 years as a Minister.
We must have the spirit of the L=
ord in us and the revelation of Jesus Christ and His Word if we are to grow=
. It is not going to be imparted to us through our intellect, either! the H=
oly Spirit must unveil it to us!
People often want to know how=
to pray for fellow Christians. if you start pray=
ing Ephesian prayers for them, you’ll see results in their lives. pray them=
over yourself and family AMEN!
just=
&n=
bsp;got a text from Mable while I am writing this, that her son Joseph &nbs=
p;is back on track PRAISE GOD!
PRAISE GOD!&nb=
sp;
PRAISE=
GOD! That is because of our Eph prayers f=
or Joseph and Mable! AMEN!!!!!!!!!!
Hallelujah
Today I also share the story of =
Abraham with you in the CUP, It is a story that many people need to revisit=
. Mary Fairchild does an excellent work in telling the story.
=
Just one more thing that I have to sha=
re, now when I sit to type the CUP I am getting email after email, from peo=
ple in need or making a comment or sending me news information and also I g=
et this beep from
facebook that I am getting messages and the=
n my phone  goes off
when I get t=
ext messages and
also the phone rings. Just painting a pictur=
e for you of how my days are changing with the increase in need of ministry=
to people and how hard it is for people to pay attention to one thing, and=
that one thing is the work assigned you by our Lord Jesus Acts 20:24. The&=
nbsp;
Worl=
d
is full of stuff and is falling ap=
art with all that is going on and it is important for us to keep
focused on what God has us doing. Imagine the life of people that do no=
t fully believe! With all the
moving par=
ts in the world they do not know where to turn even to start their
day  they go throug=
h it
haphazardly. God has called FGGAM to minister to this world we live&n=
bsp;in.

There are too many choices for people these days.=

Here is an update on Ron Bernard from his son Dan=
………..
Update: The surgery went w=
ell today. The tube is in and the jaundice is started to get a little bette=
r. He was hungry enough to eat a hamburger for dinner. It will be a couple =
of days before they know if everything is working correctly, but for now he=
is feeling better. Thank you all! The Power of Prayer is my testimony for =
tonight. God bless all of you and your loved ones! I’m going to bed.

woman I know who is pregnant with her first child, needs to be lifted up. H=

Abraham – Profile of Abraham the Old Testament Bible Character:

Abraham, the founding fat=
her of the Jewish nation of Israel, was a man of great faith an=
d obedience to the will of God. His name in Hebrew me=
ans “father of a multitude.” Originally called Abram, or “ex=
alted father,” the Lord changed his name to Abraham as a symbol of the cove=
nant promise to multiply his descendants into a great nation that God would=
call his own.
Prior to this, God had al=
ready visited Abraham when he was 75, promising to bless him and make his o=
ffspring into an abundant nation of people. All Abraham had to do was obey =
God and do what God told him to do.
This marked the beginning=
of the covenant God established with Abraham. It was also Abraham’s first =
test from God, since he and his wife Sarai (later changed to Sarah) w=
ere still without children. Abraham demonstrated remarkable faith and trust=
, immediately leaving his home and his clan the moment God called him to th=
e unknown territory of Canaan.
Accompanied by his wife a=
nd nephew Lot, Abraham prospered as a rancher and shepherd, as he made his n=
ew home surrounded by pagans in the Promised Land of Canaan. Still childles=
s, however, Abraham’s faith wavered in subsequent times of testing.
When famine struck, rathe=
r than waiting on God for provision, he packed up and took his family to Eg=
ypt.
Once there, and fearing f=
or his life, he lied about his beautiful wife’s identity, claiming she was =
his unmarried sister. Pharaoh, finding Sarah desirable, took her from Abrah=
am in exchange for generous gifts, to which Abraham raised no objections. Y=
ou see, as a brother, Abraham would be honored by Pharaoh, but as a husband=
, his life would have been in danger. Once again, Abraham lost faith in God=
‘s protection and provision. Abraham’s foolish deception backfired, and God=
kept his covenant promise intact.
The Lord inflicted diseas=
e on Pharaoh and his family, revealing to him that Sarah must be returned t=
o Abraham untouched.
More years passed during =
which Abraham and Sarah questioned God’s promise. At one point, they decide=
d to take matters into their own hands. At Sarah’s encouragement, Abraham s=
lept with Hagar, his wife’s Egyptian maidservant. Hagar gave birth to =
Ishmae=
l, but he was not the promised son. God returned to Abraham when he was=
99 to remind him of the promise and reinforce his covenant with Abraham. A=
year later, Isaac was born.
God brought more tests to=
Abraham, including a second incident when Abraham lied about Sarah’s ident=
ity, this time to King Abimelech. But Abraham underwent the biggest testing=
of his faith when God asked him to sacrifice Isaac, the promis=
ed heir, in Genesis 22: “Take your son, your only son=E2=80=94yes, Isaac, w=
hom you love so much=E2=80=94and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice=
him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.”
This time Abraham obeyed,=
fully prepared to slay his son, while fully trusting God to either resurre=
ct Isaac from the dead, or provide a substitutionary sacrifice. At the last=
minute, God intervened and provided the necessary ram.
The death of Isaac would =
have contradicted every promise God had made to Abraham, so his willingness=
to perform the ultimate sacrifice of killing his son is probably the most =
strikingly dramatic example of faith and trust in God found in the entire B=
ible.

Abraham’s Accomplishments:

Abraham is the great patr=
iarch of Israel, and to New Testament believers, “He is the father of us al=
l (Romans 4:16).” The faith of Abraham pleased God.
God visited Abraham on se=
veral unique occasions. The Lord spoke to him numerous times, once in a vis=
ion and once in the form of three visitors. Scholars believe that the myste=
rious “King of Peace” or “King of Righteousness,” Melchizedek, who b=
lessed Abram and to whom Abram gave a tithe, may have been a theophany of=
Christ (a manifestation of deity).
Abraham carried out a bra=
ve rescue of Lot when his nephew was taken captive after the Battle of the =
Valley of Siddim.

Abraham’s Strengths:

God tested Abraham severe=
ly in more than one instance, and Abraham demonstrated extraordinary faith,=
trust and obedience to the will of God. He was well-respected and successf=
ul in his occupation. He also had courage to face a powerful en=
emy coalition.

A=
braham’s Weaknesses:Impatience, fear, and a tendency to lie under pres=
sure were a few of Abraham’s weaknesses revealed in the biblical account of=
his life.

Life Lessons:

One crucial lesson we lea=
rn from Abraham is that God can and will =
use us in spite of our weaknesses. God will even stand by us and rescue us =
from our foolish mistakes. The Lord is greatly pleased by our faith and wil=
lingness to obey him.
Like most of us, Abraham =
came to the full realization of God’s purpose and promise only over a long =
period of time and a process of revelation. Thus, we learn from him that&nb=
sp;God’s calling will usually come to us in stages.

Hometown:

Abraham was born in the c=
ity of Ur of the Chaldeans (present day Iraq). He traveled 500 miles to Har=
an (now southeast Turkey) with his family and stayed there until his father=
‘s death. When God called Abraham, he moved 400 miles south to the land of =
Canaan and lived there most of the rest of his days.

April 10, 2013. Are you excited about being a child of Abraham? My pulse =
quickens when I think that, like Abraham, I have been made righteous and wi=
ll share in the blessings of Abraham my father. All I have to do is believe=
God and His word. My faith is not based upon the word of man. It is anchor=
ed in and rests upon God’s promises made to Abraham eons ago. That drives m=
y mind and heart to be holy and to do good things that please both Abraham =
and the Father.

Galatians 3:8-9 (NASB) “The Scrip=
ture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the=
gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE BLESSED IN =
YOU.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer=
