For God’s Glory Alone Ministries (“FGGAM”) was birthed by Pastor Dewey and Sharon Moede in August of 2012, at the direction of the Lord.  The faithfulness of FGGAM to Jesus and the word of God found in the Holy Bible are the focus, purpose and cornerstone of FGGAM’s ministry.

FGGAM is a nondenominational, nonpartisan and independent Christian ministry.  We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired and infallible word of God.  We believe that God’s word is the final authority for faith and life.  We believe there is only one true God, who has chosen to reveal Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Dewey and Sharon Moede, as well as FGGAM’s staff and contributors, unashamedly live our lives from the perspective of a Biblical Worldview, meaning that there is one God who created the entire world and everything in it; that we are unequivocally made in the image and likeness of God; that we have been given charge over God’s creation on the earth; and whether born or unborn, rich or poor, able or disabled, we have intrinsic value.  We believe that Almighty God is a sovereign God—ruler over nations, states, empires and governments, who is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible word (the Holy Bible).  He is sovereign over all of history, and He is rightly and intimately involved in every aspect of life.

This Christmas season, I believe it is critically important to remember that Jesus, the one and only Son of God, who always existed, and for whom and by whom all things were made, and who, as the key to the Father’s plan for restoration and salvation of mankind came to earth to be born of a virgin 2,000(+) years ago in a lowly manger to show us the way, to live a sinless life, and to willingly shed His blood and give up His life in a horrifying death at the cross as the once-and-for-all, acceptable sacrifice for our sin—bringing salvation to all who name Jesus as Lord!

In this, the Father’s plan of salvation is complete.  As children of God, we escape the deserved punishment of death and hell for our sin through faith in Jesus Christ, with the promise of eternal life in the very presence of Almighty God!

Christmas, among so many other things, should remind us of the love and overwhelming compassion of God.  It is His will for all to be saved and to live a victorious life in Christ Jesus!  FGGAM is a ministry which encourages all to glean, believe and speak the truth of God.  We pray that no person would pass into eternity without knowing the love of our Savior, Christ Jesus.

CHRISTMAS 2024

My brothers and sisters, the message I have received for this Christmas season is for all of us to remember that Jesus is not only loving, but that He is love.  He is resurrected from the dead and sits at the right hand of the Father.  He was born as a baby upon the earth to die—that is, to die for our sin, allowing those who will accept Jesus as Lord to come unto the Father.

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 52 and 53, which prophetically speaks of Jesus and affirms He is the Messiah, that Jesus would come into the world not in pomposity, but in a lowly and humble manner; that He would be despised and rejected by many; that He was wounded for our transgressions (sin); and that by His stripes we are healed.

It is a hard truth to grasp, even with the mind of Christ, but Isaiah 53 tells us it pleased the Father that Jesus was bruised and put to grief, as the only acceptable offering for our sin, reconciling us unto the Father.

Please take your time, read, meditate and pray about the scripture below, as our Lord and Savior is always faithful.  Despite our sin, the plan for salvation was already established by the Father before Jesus was ever born upon the earth:

Isaiah 52:13-15 and 53:1-12 (NKJV)
The Sin-Bearing Servant

52 13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently;
He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.
14 Just as many were astonished at you,
So His visage was marred more than any man,
And His form more than the sons of men;
15 So shall He sprinkle many nations.
Kings shall shut their mouths at Him;
For what had not been told them they shall see,
And what they had not heard they shall consider.

53 Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
9 And they made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

A Christmas Prayer

Father God, we come to You with thankful hearts and in the precious name of Jesus, the Savior of the world.  We thank You for the ministry of FGGAM, and all of the Christian ministries across the globe which exalt the name of Jesus, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus during this Christmas season.  In a world and a time in which so many persons find themselves at war, suffering personal tragedy or moral failings, and with nations, peoples and unrighteous organizations rising up against each other under the influence of Satan, we ask for Your wisdom and Your strength, and for Your will to be accomplished in our lives.  In the coming year of 2025, we ask for a supernatural refreshing, peace and a strong confidence in the knowledge of who You are—and who we are in You, as children of God!  Help us to trust You in all matters of our lives, knowing that our current sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory You will reveal to us in due time.  Help us to love others well, including our spouses and family members, friends, neighbors and even our enemies, as we pray for all to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  Help us in the ministry of reconciliation, so that we would be effective ambassadors for Christ, walking daily in the love of God and with the truth of Your word upon our lips.  For You alone are worthy of all praise, honor and glory!  We love You!  Amen!

Let’s remember what God has to say about the sufferings of the present time:

Romans 8:18-21 (ESV)
Future Glory
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us [emphasis mine].  For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.  For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of [H]im who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.”

Here is one of the most stunning and beautiful renditions of O Holy Night ever uploaded to YouTube.  It is performed by Bill & Gloria Gaither and features David Phelps.  This Christmas Eve, as we tuck in our children, kiss our spouses goodnight, and long for the presence of those loved ones who are no longer with us, let’s remember the ‘reason for the season,’ and be comforted and strengthened in the truth of this song about the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ:

Praise Jesus forevermore!
